It doesn't sound hard, but boy!! It IS! After that we went outside and did sprints....THANK YOU NANCY!!! However, they were not the typical sprints. We had partners and one partner was holding plank in the grass while the other sprinted to Tina (half way through the parking lot) and then jogged back. Once your partner was back you switched and they held plank while you sprinted. Once we finished with a few rounds of that fun we did another partner activity. One partner did squats with one leg on the curb of the parking lot and as fast as you could go while your partner did 5 push ups and then you switched and so on.
So that was boot camp and then after stretching and putting away equipment, a small group of us went for a 1 mile jog. I was very sore and very exhausted and did NOT get a good time, but I did it and that's what matters.
My eating hasn't been EXACTLY spot on lately and I haven't journaled much at all during this boot camp, so I almost feel like I'm not giving the 110% that I originally really WANTED to, which makes me think I'm not doing my best. However, I am looking forward to assessments next week and measurements and all of that good stuff. I'm anxious to see my progress. Thursday we are doing our 1 mile run assessment and then a work out at a park in Cambridge. I'm sure it'll be a blast! Next Tuesday is assessments and then prizes and such after a normal workout next Thursday and that is the last day of boot camp.
