Happy Halloween!

It will be interesting to see the effects of our Halloween party on my weight loss adventure!  I didn't eat anything too unhealthy, but the alcohol was definitely a challenge.  I had not drank since January, so I'll be kicking up my water level the next few days (weigh in for weight loss challenge on Tuesday).

I'll also be starting Boot Camp on Tuesday & Thursday evenings, which I am soooooo excited for!!

GOAL REACHED!!! EARLY!!!!

Today is going to be a wonderful day!!  The reason I know that FOR SURE is that when I weighed myself this morning I was officially the lowest I've EVER been in my adult life!  I literally cried and then screamed "YES!!!!!" loud enough that my daughter said "Mama are you ok in there?"  As I type this I am tearing up again. I started a weight loss support group on facebook and called it "2010 is THE year" and obviously I was right!  This is MY year!  I am thrilled, elated, ecstatic, any word that can describe a joy and feeling of accomplishment enough to describe how I am feeling today...in one word...AMAZING!!!

My next goal (being lighter than I was in high school) is only 12 little lbs away.  I think I'll set that one for Christmas!  For any of you trying to lose weight or just to get healthy.  I've heard a million people say it, but never really tried it, but it WORKS to set small goals....don't look at the big picture, because that seems very far away and sometimes unattainable.  The small goals are much easier to see.  I've lost 139 lbs, so 12 more seems like nothing.

Weight Loss Challenge Week 3 of 12

I am thrilled to say I kicked some booty at the weight loss challenge tonight!  Lost 3.8!  Only a couple more to reach my lowest weight of my adult life!!  YAY!

Today's Menu
Breakfast - 1 1/2 banana & Peanut Butter
Lunch - Fresh spinach topped with great northern beans and peaches with poppyseed dressing
Dinner - 1 whole bag of Planter's Fruit and Nut Trail Mix

Today was an interesting day in a few different ways.  I'm not feeling 100% and didnt really have much desire to eat...but here it is :)

Breakfast - Yogurt & an Apple
Lunch - Chili, Peanut Butter, 1/2 Banana
Snack - Yogurt & a banana
Dinner - Peanut butter and a banana

Welcome!

Hey followers!  Welcome to my new Body By Me blog!!  I hope you enjoy the new set up as much as I do.  It still needs some tweeking, but all blogs are really a work in progress.  I'll be posting what I eat and how I work out everyday in the blog section rather than keeping a calendar, as I did on Shutterfly.  If anyone is interested in doing what I do, please let me know.  I'll be more than happy to help in anyway I can.
