VICTORY!

So last night because I was hell bent on FINALLY finding some good shoes and because I'm not a HUGE fan of the Core and Conditioning class...I went shoe shopping instead of to class.  I started out at Kohl's because I REALLY did NOT want to drive all the way to North Branch.  Their selection was TINY to say the least, but it looked like they had all the good shoes.  I spent part of quiet time yesterday researching shoes and reviews on different brands and such and Kohl's had all of the shoes that I read were the best.  I was REALLY looking for a pair that were awesome in the way of function and second most important was how they looked.  I know I maybe shouldn't be that picky, but I am.  I really REALLY wanted a pair that were either black and hot pink or white and hot pink, but I refused to compromise performance.  This was probably the biggest reason I wasn't finding what I was looking for.  All of the shoes that I liked how they looked were Nike which didn't EVER have any available in a 10.5, so I started working toward Asics or New Balanace and found that I can easily get away with a 10 in Asics :)  So I found an AWESOME pair!  Like as soon as my foot got in them, it was happy, which made me happy!!  They aren't pink, but they have purple which is the next best thing and the purple is pretty bright!!  I'm so excited to wear them and try them out.

Kohl's didn't have CRAP in the way of dance/Zumba shoes, so I left out of there and decided I was just going to have to suck it up and head to North Branch :(  I went to Famous Footwear first, being fairly skeptical, because I had already checked the FF store in Albertville.  And of course, the sales lady had no idea where to direct me, so I was pretty much flying solo on this one too.  I asked her if she could atleast point me in the direction of the flat thin soled shoes.  I kept Kelsie's shoes in my head thinking those are at least the KIND I need to get.  What better to look at for an example besides your instructor's shoes, right? So anyway, I proceeded to try on Nike, New Balance, Puma, and a couple other brands.  I put both shoes of each pair on and did some hip wiggling and some Apple Bottom Jeans dancing and some jumping and everyone in the store probably thought I was NUTS, but I don't care!  I found my shoes and I love them!  Part of me wants to wear them around the house today because I love them so much! LOL!  Yes, maybe I am nuts.  Anyway, they are a pair of new balance, but very boring looking so I stopped at Target on my way home and bought a little bit of attitude for them :) hehehehe.  Yup, it's confirmed, I'm a dork!
